We had a family reunion there and it was amazing! The grounds and villa were beautiful and well kept, the service was excellent and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I expected the beautiful country to be the reason to return but truly our interactions with Ann, Reshine, Uwain, Sheema, Dave (Darin) & Maureen are what will keep me coming back. Wowwww, this villa is a dream with the views, the staff, and the personality. Food by Sheema was delicious and gorgeously prepared, we loved talking with the staff and doing tours around the villa, Uwayne even cut down coconuts on our fifth day for us to enjoy. Shane made us delicious drinks to enjoy as well. Rooms are comfortable with AC and connected bathrooms in each room, they also open all the way up to the outside so you can enjoy the views. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Nutmeg Villa with a bachelor/bachelorette group (11 guys and girls). This house was absolutely everything and more. The pictures dont do it justice - every room has a bathroom, the property sits on 5 acres of land. The staff was amazing, chef was super accommodating and the food was delicious, we had security and staff with us the whole time, and they are a great group! This is such a great house for a trip with friends or family, super kid friendly. The host also connected us with a transportation company that were our tour guides all weekend. They recommended and helped me put the itinerary together and chaperoned us everywhere. My husband and I were instantly hooked from our very first visit to Nutmeg Villa and we have come back again and again with our kids, our parents, and our friends. Every visit has suited each age group, activity level and addressed everyone’s personal preferences, including our most recent visit in March. Everyone we bring to Nutmeg falls in love with the ocean view, the lovely accommodations, the delicious chef prepared meals and the professional, warm & welcoming staff. From the moment you arrive, you feel both at home and on a private pampered vacation. It’s the best of both worlds! The property itself is captivating with its sprawling grounds and an abundance of flowering plants, fruit & nut trees. Ask for a tour and you will be gladly taken around the premises and given an in-depth description and taste of it all, along with an explanation of the medicinal uses of some of the plants. It’s a special added treat. Ask the staff to join in some board games and dance parties in the evenings and get ready for some memories to take home! So much good-hearted fun. We were happy enjoying the swimming pool and playing table tennis and billiards on property but, as Nutmeg guests, we also had access to the beach at Half Moon Bay Resort which is just across the road so, we took advantage of that as well. If you’re a golf lover like my husband, then you will be happy to know that Half Moon Bay Golf course is literally just a stone’s throw away. I rarely write reviews but after our last visit (of many) I thought I should stop harboring this place for myself and share the joy. It truly is a gem.
